Wacky characters under buyer name

I have an order who’s buy name appears as:

 

I assume this is some issue with non-latin characters not supported in my browser/OS. I’m using FireFox. I also tried in Chrome and Safari, which simply showed a blank space for the name. I believe the individual is Russian, from the email.

    Hi Aaron, definitely looks like some unsupported alphabet/characters were entered at checkout and didn’t quite make it through the system. You may want to contact the customer for more information if needed. In the meantime we’ll keep that on our radar and see if that’s something that can be worked out.
