Adding Product Options after already linked

I have a product linked to to a Big Cartel item. But now I want to add an alternate option to that Big Cartel product and link a separate download file to that new option.
Pulley is not letting me link the new option saying the product is already linked to a download.Do I really have to delete the download file to re-link to each individual item? That will lose the history of sales it seems within Pulley.

Just to be clear. You want to import a previously imported Big Cartel product into Pulley (which has an associated file download), but import one of the product’s options to a separate file in Pulley? If that is the case, is the checkbox not checkable?

Right the radio options show as disabled for the previously imported product with associated download. I imported when I only had one option, and added the second option later.
I guess it makes sense if by adding the option I created a new id for each production option but I don’t like the potential that I will lose all the history for the prior associated download if I have to unlink it and start from 0.

When a Big Cartel product without options is linked to Pulley, the whole product is in effect linked. Any new options added to the product on Big Cartel will trigger a sale on the Pulley product.
Unfortunately there is currently no way to un-link a Pulley product from Big Cartel, other than to remove the product either from Pulley or Big Cartel. Removing the product on Big Cartel will cause the Pulley product to remain but the link between them to be destroyed. You can then recreate the Big Cartel product and re-import it into Pulley however you see fit.

Hopefully in the future the user experience can be improved a bit on managing product downloads in Pulley.
