Pulley - Not good for big files?

I had noticed a filmmaker use Pulley to offer digital downloads of his movies.  But, I had a question on the MB plans.   For example, the 100mb plan for $6 a month.  Is that 100MB for each of the 25 products?  AKA. You could offer 25 100MB movie files?  Or is that 25 spread over 100mb?

As someone who isn’t sure I can sell that many movies on my site, I’m wondering if Pulley is a decent service to use.  Mine is a short film that I could maybe get away with $3-4 a pop.  But, I’d have to sell 2 a month just to break even and the files (I’m gathering) need to be compressed to under 100mb.  Which could get restricting if we’re talking a high quality HD download.  I almost feel like I’m better off using a free service like drop box and just doing it all manually.

Lastly, how encrypted are these emails?  Can only the person who is meant to download it, download it?  What security measures are in place so that one can’t just forward it to a friend to download?  Do the links expire?  Does the file know that it shouldn’t be on several different computers?

    Hi there,

Sorry for the delay getting back to you. The storage amounts per plan are the total amount of storage you can use, not per product. So our base plan is a total of 100 products from up to 25 products.

We’ve tried to make our pricing as simple and affordable as possible, but unfortunately it’s not ideal for some people with larger files who don’t plan on selling much.

As for security, we talk about how that works in our manual: http://help.pulleyapp.com/articles/32-security

Let me know if you need any more help.
